I live in Kirby Muxloe, Leicestershire with my family and menagerie including a dog, cat & hamster.

I have a passion for art, design, animals, vehicles and the great outdoors. I have created art throughout my life and I am also a keen photographer, with my photographs often inspiring my landscape paintings.

I am degree qualified in Transport Design, giving me the skills to produce professional-standard vehicle art.

My Transport Design degree led to 25 years of experience in car and motorcycle development across design, engineering and programme management.

Evan Jones Studio was born in 2025 following a career break from the automotive industry. Having always painted for pleasure and having done informal commissions for friends and family, I decided that this was the perfect opportunity to turn my passion into my job.

I have been commissioned to produce canvases for a wide range of subjects including animal portraits, vehicles and landscapes. I have also produced digital artwork for T-shirts.

My areas of specialism are pet portraits, vehicle portraits & landscapes. However, I am very versatile and I can take on almost any subject.

I cover all of the UK working remotely and can offer a face-to-face service for local customers (all of Leicestershire and parts of Nottinghamshire, Derbyshire, Northamptonshire and Warwickshire).

My medium of choice is acrylic paint which produces characterful and colourful artwork whilst allowing a high level of detail.

I generally paint onto high quality boxed canvas which can be wall hung with or without a frame.

The core of my work is private commissions. However, I also sell prints and originals of my own compositions as can be seen in my shop page.

I am also able to create art digitally (output supplied as a digital file e.g for T-shirts or websites) and offer image manipulation services (such as photograph editing and enhancement).
